Let me introduce myself!!

Hola!

I'm back : ) I've been busy recently and apologies for not keep my blog up to date.

So I never put pictures of myself on social media but thought its time to show you who Turnstyle13 is....

I've set up my workshop and love love love it; its such an amazing building. I recently had a week off from my other job and spent everyday there, my partner was coming down just so he could see me.

In my last blog I spoke about the four country style kitchen chairs; well they are finished and were delivered to my lovely customer on Monday morning with each chair a different colour Blue, Green, Pink and orange. You can see pictures of these on my Instagram and Facebook pages.

This week I'm finishing a retro dining table for a lovely customer, the table is being re-stained and finished with a little polish and some wax. Also currently working on six dining chairs to be colour matched and french polished.

For my own pieces I've continued to work on my little cocktail chair, with preview photos being uploaded to my social media pages, cant wait to show you the finished piece. Still working on an online shop hopefully be opened before Christmas, aaahhhh!!! can't believe its nearly here.

Catch up!!

Hello I'm back!! :)

Missed last weeks blog entry but back this week with more jobs completed and new ones starting.

I recently finished a couch repair for a lovely customer in the west end, the couch was a modern style with the inside frame crumbling causing the metal foot to fall off. This involved building a small frame for inside to create strength to allow the foot to be re-attached, finished off with new bottom cloth.

I also completed the dining table to go with the six dining chairs from the previous week. This extending table needed to be colour matched, for this the full table was scraped back and stained to blend in with the colour already on the legs. The table was then finished off with a wax oil in clear satin.

I've started working on two of my own pieces - The retro cocktail chair & A two seater mid century Parker knoll got amazing fabrics for these pieces - stay tuned for them they will be available to buy. (Hoping to get a shop on the website this week)

Also got some lovely new stock coming cant wait to show you. :)

Whats new!!

Hello,

So I've got a few things that's been happening and few things coming up!! I'll try to keep it short... I'll try. :)

Last week I had two jobs on, the first job started at the circus, no not the ring master or the trapeze or even a clown. I had been asked to repair some scratches on some table tops, after being colour matched and stained the tops were polished and waxed. After finishing at the circus it was on to the second job, this involved repairing and restoring six dining chairs these were in need of some touch up with colour and finished to a high shine with a lovely french polish. Dropped off to happy customer, Happy days.

I'm now a stockist of the beautiful fabric from Jess & Jules, I can't wait to start using their stunning fabrics, having ordered the gorgeous blue triangles & diamonds and tropicalia for some bespoke custom pieces coming soon... stay tuned!!!

In the coming week I will be adding a shop section to my website as well as to my Facebook page, for this I will be having a 10% off on selected items with also lots of new pieces being added.. eeekk!! excited
